Welcome

We are delighted that you would like to learn about the Davie Poplar Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). We are honored to share information with those interested in the DAR, and we continually seek new opportunities to promote DAR objectives within our local community.

Each member is a direct descendant of a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War.

How To Join

Interested in becoming a DAR member? Our chapter is made up of enthusiastic ladies of all ages, backgrounds, and talents. Any woman 18 years or older who can prove direct ancestry from a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War is eligible for membership. You are welcome to visit one of our meetings where we can answer questions about membership, projects, or activities. Our chapter registrar will be happy to assist with the membership process.
